Neovasc, Inc.

Alloy was initially engaged by Neovasc to fix their very broken website. The publicly-traded company’s site – an essential portal for investor information – wasn’t providing the information or brand identity the company wanted to convey to this essential audience. We audited the code and found it was built on outdated Javascript and PHP architecture which, when updated, crashed the site completely. We quickly rewrote page code and moved the site to our servers which stabilized the platform.

Neovasc asked us to submit an RFP to become their sole digital communications partner and Alloy won the business. While their site was stable, it was still outdated in design, content and functionality. We began updating neovasc.com by adding a simple, custom, CRM system and built out a very robust investor portal that included streaming stock price updates, quarterly financial updates and archival system, news release automation and a corporate presentation nexus. Alloy took the lead in expanding Neovasc’s brand palette as well, which hadn’t been updated since the company’s inception.

In 2023, the company was sold to Shockwave Medical and the site was transitioned to them.

Neovasc UK marketing communications

After a recommendation from the U.K.’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, interest in the Reducer device skyrocketed in physician and patient populations. Neovasc’s small presence in England needed marketing communications support, and Alloy stepped up, providing print and digital brochures, a trade show backdrop, a website, and a small library of accessible video content.
